The author does a good job of summarizing the experiences and challenges of students, while using direct quotes from students to further explain experiences in their own words. I learned a lot from this book, and found that many... A very helpful knowledge base for my work at a small, private liberal arts college. Practical content that I've seen in action at my institution. A necessary read for most anyone in higher education, especially in small, private colleges.
