More About The Visual Investor: How to Spot Market Trends
the yen upturn coincided exactly with the start of a topping process in global stocks. By first quarter 2008, the yen had risen to the highest level in three years against the U.S. dollar as global stocks tumbled. John J. Murphy, The Visual Investor: How to Spot Market Trends //
This is a very good book for people who are learning how to use technical indicators, read charts to see trends and patterns, and look for leading indicators using commodities, bond futures, relative strength, etc. I'm going to read this book again after I've had a chance to digest the first reading. I read several John Murphy's books. I think all of them are very good. This one is less interesting to me. Good book overall. A little outdated however the middle part of the book demonstrates how to use all those indicators of charts you never know what it means. The book is full of examples so 300 pages is actually more like 150 of reading.
