More About Heaven's Keep
At the heart of most things that look bad is something that can be good and useful. William Kent Krueger, Heaven's Keep //
I have read two other books by William Krueger, with Ordinary Grace being the first. My admiration for Mr. Krueger' s writing content and style in this book was instrumental in guiding me to enter a contest for a chance to win more of his books. I was fortunate enough to win a copy of Iron Lake, the first in the Cork O'Connor series.... Not as good as some of others. Never thought he would kill off the hero's wife.Second reading. Thought more highly of it. One of his better books. Still didn't think he would kill off the hero's wife. Although the ending about her care, death, and interim resting place was well thought out.
