More About Children of the Night: The Best Short Stories by Black Writers, 1967 to Present
Really enjoying these short stories! Makes me realize how few books I've read with a black protagonist. It's stories of people living their lives and the stories are overall mostly positive. It's more small injustices, personal triumphs. And just read a horribly depressing story!Ugh, the 2nd 1/2 gets progressively shittier and shittier.... I love short story anthologies. There is some variation in quality, but it's a solid collection that introduced me to some authors I'd never read. Excellent short stories.
